Requirements

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred).
  • 2-4 years of related work experience for supervisory roles.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience for Box Office Attendant.
  • Experience in a supervisory role for Box Office Supervisor.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in cash handling and payment methods.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance for Coat Check Attendant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs for Guest Services Coordinator.
  • Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and interest in live entertainment.
  • Previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry.
  • Previous experience working on a venue ticketing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of ticket sellers and ensuring all employees are performing their duties.
  • Training of ticketing staff and assisting manager with scheduling.
  • Updating internal spreadsheets with new and updated show information.
  • Resolving customer service issues and troubleshooting software or point of sale system problems.
  • Reviewing ticketing information for accuracy and coordinating show builds with marketing.
  • Assisting customers with ticket distribution and providing general information.
  • Managing will call and guest list, checking identification, and resolving issues.
  • Reconciliation of sales and will call receipts.
  • Operating coat check services and maintaining organization in the coat room.
  • Providing administrative support to the Guest Services Manager.
  • Coordinating Guest Services Staff for pre-event and post-event activities.
  • Monitoring all crews working onsite and coordinating with venue partners.
  • Greeting office visitors and addressing their needs.
  • Providing excellent customer service at events and assisting guests with directions.
