About The Position

The Guest Services Director is responsible for leading, building, and pastoring a team to create a welcoming environment, aligning all guest services efforts with the church's vision and the Guest Services’ standards.

Requirements

  • This role is full-time time 40 hours per week.
  • This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs.
  • Standard schedule is: Sunday: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday: 9:00am-5:00pm Tuesday: 9:00am-5:00pm Wednesday: 9:00am-5:00pm Thursday: 9:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Embody NewSpring and Services mission in personal life as well as teach, model, and coach others to do the same.
  • Uphold all ministry missions, pillars, and standards. Use strategy, resources, and training as provided by the Support Guest Services team in order to accomplish the campus role to implement the vision, shepherd the people, and reach the city.
  • Develop leaders to create experiences, build teams, and provide resourced environments that see, serve, and connect people to Jesus and his Church. Build and shepherd a leadership team of volunteers to develop, care for, recruit, and train all volunteers in the Guest Services ministry.
  • Review Guest Services metrics and use this as a resource to follow-up, encourage, etc.
  • Utilize Rock to document communication and attendance for volunteers and guests to New Serve, New Here, and serving.
  • Foster intercommunication between campus ministries, Guest Services Support, and the Campus Pastor to make appropriate and vision-aligned choices for the Aiken Campus.
  • As appropriate, may be asked to lead additional teams or events.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
