About The Position

The Guest Services position at the HRCA Rec Center involves performing a variety of administrative and operational duties to meet the needs of members at the assigned recreation facility. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various tasks in a busy environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Previous customer service experience and basic computer skills desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of one year of high school is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service by offering accurate information in a friendly, positive manner.
  • Monitors and checks-in members entering the facilities.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls as required.
  • Provides equipment checkout, upkeep, and accountability.
  • Assists with basic transactions for Member Services, including cash handling.
  • Cleans and disinfects cardio and weight equipment.
  • Performs light janitorial and landscaping duties.
  • Sets up room and programs (volleyball, basketball, etc.) as requested.
  • Assists management with training and development of new staff.
  • Participates in the mission of the organization of 'Enhancing property values and creating quality of life through recreation, community events, and leadership.'
  • Performs other duties as assigned and required.
