The Guest Services Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall operation of the facility Guest Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with either: admissions in a Skilled Nursing Property, or hospital discharge, or case management, or hospitality required.

Responsibilities

  • To establish a program to ensure positive transitions into the facility for admitting guests.
  • Maintain a quality working relationship with the community and healthcare professionals and other health related properties and organizations.
  • As requested, serve on, participate in, and attend various committees of the property Quality Assessment and Assurance as required, and as appointed by the Director. Participate in community outreach related to the interests of the property.
  • Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the guest serviceprograms of the property.
