The Guest Services Assistant (GSA) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is designed to ensure optimal patient and family experience. The GSA performs general clerical duties and coordinates activities at the Concierge Desk & Nurse’s Station to assure the timely, accurate, and proactive flow of patient information, reports, and communications. Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, amenities, and equipment to support unit operations, transporting patients throughout the hospital, and ensuring coverage for all support tasks to maintain workflow. The GSA performs continuous rounding to ensure a clean and quiet environment and resolves any environmental or facilities issues. The role includes cross-functional responsibilities such as administrative support, non-patient transport, equipment management, and comfort rounding on patients. The position is part-time, with shifts from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, including alternating weekends and holidays.
