About The Position

The Guest Services and Maintenance Specialist supports the team by assisting with guest work orders and guest requests. Overall maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all facilities and equipment are functioning properly. This role assists with preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The role is afternoon/evening support.

Requirements

• Ability to learn preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Ability to complete deep cleans.
• Ability to provide customer support with various requests.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Ensure all maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Assist with guest requests for work orders and amenities.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Conduct maintenance checks of equipment and properly log findings.
• Snow shoveling/ice removal and safety walks required
• Report all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty immediately.
• Maintain key inventory and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, and hotel equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas.
