About The Position

The Guest Service Support Expert is responsible for creating a memorable and unique experience for guests, not just serving food. This role involves delivering a wide range of services to ensure smooth food and beverage operations. Key aspects include setting tables, assisting the kitchen, cleaning work areas, and replenishing supplies, all while contributing to a positive guest experience. Success in this role requires maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style. The role is physically demanding, requiring standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving over various surfaces, managing menus, and handling objects up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance, including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. The position also involves upholding The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" and learning the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification
