About The Position

The Guest Service Representative at Residence Inn Dallas Grand Prairie is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, assisting with check-in/check-out procedures, and offering information and assistance to guests during their stay. This is a part-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in Grand Prairie, Texas. This position reports to the Front Office Manager and does not have any direct reports

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience in a hotel, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation systems.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service experience in a hotel, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner, following all hotel procedures and policies.
  • Assist guests with their inquiries, concerns, and needs throughout their stay, providing accurate information and timely solutions.
  • Process reservations, changes, and cancellations according to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and local area attractions.
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and employees.
  • Attend all required training and meetings to stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
