Guest Service Representative I - Hospitality
About The Position
The Guest Service Representative (GSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This role includes welcoming guests, receiving and fulfilling guest requests, creating reservations, providing concierge services and recommendations, and assisting with guest check-in and check-out for RV sites. The GSR position supports a variety of guest service operations across the property and may include working in the retail store, assisting with boat slip and RV site rentals, and supporting related guest services as needed. This position plays an important role in ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. The GSR is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and guest service area.
Requirements
- 1–2 years hotel or restaurant experience
- 1–2 years retail experience
- Dependable, punctual, with an impeccable attendance record
- Accurate with strong attention to detail and service-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Excellent math aptitude and cash handling ability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
- Marina or boat slip experience a plus
