The Guest Services Representative (GSR) is responsible for providing exemplary Guest service; working to ensure each Guests’ visit is a pleasant, convenient and enjoyable experience. The GSR serves each Guest in a polite, courteous and professional manner while also assisting store management in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the store.

  • Provide excellent Guest service and an experience worth repeating through demonstrating the Company Values: 1) Guest Ready, 2) Honor & Value, 3) Quick, Clean & Convenient, 4) Ownership, 5) Team-Focused.
  • Greet Guests upon entering the store and thank them for their business upon exit.
  • Mention Limited Time Offers (LTO) and monthly promotional offers as determined by Operations leadership.
  • Maintain cleanliness & appearance inside the store; this includes restrooms, trashcans, doors & windows, floors, rugs, counters & office areas, merchandise shelving, food service areas and beverage bars areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness & appearance outside the store; this includes entrances, parking lots, trashcans, doors & windows, porches & sidewalks, fuel islands & valets.
  • Perform basic merchandising to include stocking, fronting & facing merchandise on shelves and in coolers, stocking beverage bar areas, bagging ice, brewing coffee & tea at assigned intervals, stocking lottery supplies & tobacco/vape products.
  • Follow the Daily Task Sheets (DTS) to ensure all duties are completed as assigned.
  • Remove stale dated merchandise.
  • Control inventory and protect Company assets at all times according to policies; follow proper policies on all age-restricted merchandise.
  • May check-in vendors and receive fuel deliveries.
  • Train newly hired team members as assigned.
  • Operate Point-of-Sale, lottery, phones & money order equipment.
  • Support and facilitate organizational changes, continuous improvement and communication.

  • Holidays, weekends and irregular hours will be required according to the needs of the business.
  • Must be dependable & punctual; report to work on time as scheduled.
  • Previous Guest relations or customer service experience desired but not required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), Tobacco certification & Food Handlers certificate.
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, push/pull, climb, bend/stoop, crouch/kneel/crawl, balance, twist/reach, carry, grasp with hands and squat.
  • Lifting Requirements: Lift 50 to 100lbs.
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, communication equipment and verbal instructions.
  • Cognitive Requirements: Basic reading, writing and math skills. Basic speech skills; must be able to speak, read, write & understand the English language, memorization, analytical skills, function under stress & make independent decisions.
  • Vision Requirements: General vision requirements in addition to close vision (<20 inches), color vision and peripheral vision.
  • Noise Levels: Normal (<85dB) noise levels.
  • Repetitive Motion(s): Regularly & repetitively use both feet and both hands.
  • Environmental Factors: General working conditions include wet/humid/steam conditions not created by weather, slippery floors, hot grease, concentrated soaps & cleaning solutions, outdoor weather conditions, CO2 Cylinders, and flashing/strobing lighting.
