About The Position

Summary of Duties: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Position Purpose: To provide accurate, efficient, and courteous cashier services to guests.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
  • Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
  • I assert that I am able to perform the essential duties, meet the physical requirements of this position, and satisfy the expectation for regular attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Courteously and accurately redeem winning tickets for guests upon request and complete all paperwork associated with each transaction.
  • Make changes for guests and exchange casino tokens, or redeem coupons as needed.
  • Maintain a zero-balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Prepare and forward all paperwork to accounting in a timely manner.
  • Learn the duties and responsibilities of the vault clerk in order to perform vault services for guests and employees.
  • Become knowledgeable of and perform all duties in compliance with Title 31 regulations and departmental procedures.
  • Report all variances to the shift supervisor.
  • Promptly and tactfully respond to guest requests and complaints, communicate all guest complaints and suggestions to the Lead Guest Services Representative.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining monies and other items of cash value.
  • Be familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
  • Comply with tip reporting procedures.
  • Obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
