The Guest Service Representative at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience during casino promotions and special events. This position involves greeting guests, managing ticketing, and ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the execution of casino promotions and special events.
  • Set-up chair and row numbering per floor plan.
  • Remove all numbering from pavilion seats after shows.
  • Greet guests in a friendly, outgoing manner.
  • Scan tickets and direct guests in Showroom, Promotions, and Special Events.
  • Explain and answer questions regarding the property, Casino Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment, and the benefits of the Total Rewards program.
  • Create a fun and exciting environment for guests during Promotions, Special Events, and Entertainment.
  • Display Spotlight behaviors and present an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Provide constructive input and suggestions as a participating team member.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Great customer service, employee relation, and individual/teamwork skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of CMS, LMS, or/and EMS is preferred.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adaptability.
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
  • Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a contributing member of a team.
  • Ability to receive and accept direction and instruction in a positive and cooperative manner.
