About The Position

This is a customer contact position that is responsible for ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, every time, maintaining outstanding standards set by Harrahs and Smashburger with solid product knowledge and can demonstrate the consistent delivery of our service standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 year of experience.
  • Health Card.
  • Alcohol Awareness if over 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge every guest with a smile.
  • Be aware of all menu items and make suggestions.
  • Process POS transactions in a timely manner and accurately following cash handling procedures.
  • Keep floors, counters and dining room clean at all times.
  • Deliver food to guests using the service behavior standards.
  • Perform table touches to assure guests have everything they need.
  • Foster a safe work environment and procedures as outlined by Harrahs Laughlin and Smashburger.
  • Answer phones using excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Work in an environment with fluctuating business levels.
  • Respond to visual and oral direction.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to be a team player.
  • Work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Help other outlets as management deems necessary.
