About The Position

The Bellperson is a key ambassador of Omni’s renowned service culture, creating exceptional first and last impressions for our guests. This role provides warm, attentive, and efficient assistance with luggage, transportation, and guest orientation while delivering genuine Southern hospitality throughout the guest experience.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or guest service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Valid driver’s license may be required
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Omni standards

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure, offering luggage assistance as needed
  • Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms, storage areas, and vehicles
  • Escort guests to rooms and provide an overview of resort amenities, services, and in-room features
  • Maintain knowledge of the resort layout, amenities, dining options, and local attractions
  • Assist with transportation coordination, including valet communication and shuttle support (if applicable)
  • Tag, store, and retrieve luggage accurately and securely
  • Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell stand, luggage storage, and entry areas
  • Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service
  • Uphold Omni brand standards and Forbes service expectations at all times
