Guest Service Associate

About the position

Guest Services Associates (GSA) are responsible for the day-to-day care of pet resort guests and for the cleanliness and sanitation of the Pet Resort interior and exterior. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of dogs and cats. The GSA will also occasionally assist doctors and technicians with pet restraint for procedures or anesthesia induction.

Responsibilities

• Care for pet resort guests including feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Pet Resort interior and exterior.
• Assist doctors and technicians with pet restraint for procedures or anesthesia induction.

Requirements

• A love for animals and the ability to warmly welcome and compassionately care for pets.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous while handling multiple tasks.
• Empathy towards clients and ability to remain compassionate under all circumstances.
• Physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects.
• Dexterity and confidence to handle and administer medications or bathe pets.
• Ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease.
