About The Position

The Guest Service Ambassador at Palms Casino Resort plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to guests in the gaming area. This position involves assisting guests with inquiries, managing cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe gaming environment. The ambassador is responsible for verifying jackpots, expediting paperwork, and maintaining a strong presence on the gaming floor to meet service standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one (1) year of casino and/or previous cash handling experience required.
• Knowledge of general arithmetic and its application to monetary transactions.
• Ability to speak and write in English for communication purposes.
• Proficient in handling large amounts of money during cash transactions.
• Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service excellence to guests in the gaming area.
• Expedite service calls and fix minor machine errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized gaming floor.
• Verify jackpots and expedite jackpot paperwork.
• Accurately pay jackpot payouts and document guest information.
• Respond to service calls via smart device or radio.
• Assist guests with questions regarding games and proper play.
• Perform minor machine and printer repairs as needed.
• Cashes tickets for customers following approved procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and unusual activity immediately.
• Attend required training and maintain knowledge of the area.
