About The Position

Greet, register and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to hotel/brand and sustainability standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
  • Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and offer assistance.
  • Register and assign guests to hotel rooms.
  • Establish payment methods and verify credit.
  • Make and confirm reservations.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
  • Transmit and receive messages via telephone or PMS.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly.
  • Resolve guest complaints, escalating when necessary.
  • Secure guest valuables.
  • Perform bookkeeping activities.
  • Work towards increasing guest satisfaction scores.
  • Practice safe work habits and follow safety standards.
  • Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
