About The Position

As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our establishment. The Courtyard Rochester Downtown, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Guest Service Agent.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy of information and timely processing
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
