About The Position

As an integral member of the Food and Beverage team, the Guest Room Dining Server requires getting everything right the first time, every time; attention to detail, suggestive selling, a friendly phone presence, and impeccable timing. This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates: Season Start: February 1 – May 15 Season End: October 31 Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October. There's no place like Suncadia. Requirements

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous food & beverage service experience preferred
  • Food Handlers Card & WA State Alcohol Servers Permit certified (or obtain within 30-days of hire)
  • Ability to speak the English language fluently to interact with guests. Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze guest needs and assist in resolving any and all guests challenges
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
  • Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Provide welcoming phone greeting and follow guest ordering procedures
  • Convey menu information over the phone to guests and give accurate estimate of delivery time
  • Make food and beverage recommendations and apply suggestive selling techniques
  • Deliver food & beverage orders to Guest Rooms
  • Follow procedures for announcing self at the room, entering the guest room, presenting the order and the check
