About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms in a hotel setting. This role involves cleaning a minimum of 16 credits per 8-hour shift, ensuring that all aspects of the room meet the hotel's standards for guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous Guest Room Attendant experience is helpful.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned guest rooms to ensure they are tidy and presentable.
  • Make beds with clean linens, ensuring they are free of stains and holes.
  • Dust and vacuum rooms thoroughly to remove dirt and debris.
  • Service bathrooms by cleaning mirrors, toilets, sinks, and tubs, ensuring all amenities are properly placed.
  • Ensure all in-room paper products are neat and free of creases or marks.
  • Update assignment sheets with room status and record linens changed during the shift.
  • Punch in room status on the guest room telephone (e.g., vacant/clean, occupied/clean, vacant/dirty).
  • Maintain the room attendant cart with necessary amenities, linens, and paper products.
  • Secure the Saflok master key during the shift.
  • Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
