Shaner Hotels has an amazing opportunity to join our team at our Fairfield Inn & Suites in the Water Street District of Dayton, Ohio.  The Fairfield Inn Dayton features 98 modern guest rooms. Requirements

  • At least one year of professional cleaning experience; hotel experience is a big plus.
  • Strong communication skills—you can connect with guests, management, and your teammates, and you’re not afraid to ask questions or offer solutions.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling—you keep yourself and others safe.
  • Flexibility is key. You’ll need to be available for weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Hospitality never sleeps, and neither do we.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish? Even better! Our guests come from everywhere, and so do you.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and activities—a great recommendation can turn a stay into an experience.

Responsibilities

  • Tackle assigned guest rooms with energy and attention to detail, meeting (and exceeding) our high standards for cleanliness and quality.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and moments of surprise with genuine care and professionalism—your goal: happy, satisfied guests every time.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security in all guest rooms. What happens in the suite, stays in the suite.
  • Observe all house and safety rules, including housekeeping room procedures and security protocols—your safety and our guests’ peace of mind come first.
  • Complete daily assignments and seasonal deep cleans, keeping our property sparkling, inside and out.
  • Restock and return your housekeeping cart at the end of each shift—ready for the next day’s adventure.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and keep communication channels open with management and co-workers.
  • Take on “other duties as assigned”—because every day is different, and flexibility is part of the fun.
