As a member of our housekeeping team, under this position you will be supervised to ensure that Departmental Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed. Also, your rooms will be inspected to guarantee that cleanliness and condition of the room, as well as the service standards are maintained. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; prior Housekeeping supervisory and hospitality experience desired.
  • Aptitude to effectively utilize specified devices and related technology for operational excellence.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Require the ability to lift, carry, bend, stood and stand for the duration of a shift.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization though efficient execution of repetitive tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and physically capable individual who can efficiently execute a variety of cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with guests by meeting the 16 Service Standards set by the hotel.
  • Clean check outs and stay over rooms. Between 12 to 14 credits per day.
  • Strip linen and terry.
  • Removes all trash.
  • Clean and stock coffee station and minibar.
  • Report lost & found items.
  • Report maintenance problems by putting service orders through the system.
  • Dust and disinfect all surfaces.
  • Vacuums all carpeted areas.
  • Sweeps and mop all hard floor surfaces.
  • “Pulls” furniture in guestroom as directed.
  • Scrubs all bathroom fixtures and floor with appropriate chemicals.
  • Closes sheers upon completion of cleaning.
  • Empties trashcans, remove empty bottles dirty dishes.
  • Picks up and organizes guest items such as shoes, clothing, books, etc.
  • Replenish bathroom amenities and necessary terry.
  • Replenishes guest’s supplies as necessary.
  • Stock work cart, keep it clean and organized.
  • At the end of your shift clean and organized your linen closet.
  • Use a device to update the status of the rooms.
  • Clean patios and patio furniture.
  • Orders supplies for area of responsibility.
  • Perform major housecleaning annually.
  • General cleaning of public areas as needed.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
