Tioga Downs Casino Resort is seeking dedicated Guest Room Attendants to join our Hotel Staff. If you take pride in the appearance of a freshly cleaned room, we want to hear from you! Our Guest Room Attendants play a crucial role in ensuring ongoing guest satisfaction and achieving team goals through the meticulous maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of our guests' rooms. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning assigned rooms and suites to meet the hotel's cleanliness standards. This includes a variety of tasks such as maintaining shelf organization in storerooms, removing trash and dirty linens from rooms, and performing spot cleaning on walls, carpets, and light fixtures. You will also be expected to vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, and clean carpets and flooring in guest rooms, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. In addition to cleaning, you will dust, brush, polish, and vacuum furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, framed pictures, appliances, and other structural fixtures and furnishings in guest rooms. You will scrub, disinfect, and deodorize showers, toilets, wash basins, and other bathroom fixtures, ensuring that all bathrooms are clean and hygienic. Other responsibilities include stripping beds, collecting dirty linens, making beds with fresh linens, and replenishing linens, amenities, and other supplies in guest rooms. You will also be required to wash, dry, and fold linens in the laundry area as part of your duties.
