About The Position

The Guest Relations Associate is responsible for making the Hoboken University Medical Center experience more comfortable and satisfying for patients, families, and visitors. The Associate is responsible for assisting the Information Desk with greeting and welcoming all patients, visitors, vendors, and staff, along with directing guests appropriately. The Associate assists patients and their families with questions regarding personal needs and hospital procedures and resolves issues and concerns patients and their families may have. Provides a variety of services to promote and enhance patient satisfaction and continuously engages with staff, patients, and families. This is a full-time position with a day shift of 8 hours per shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of medical experience, with previous hospital or physician office experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately enter data.
• Knowledge of some medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
