The purpose of The Guest Relations Agent is to represent the company in a professional manner while offering efficient and courteous service through all stages of the guest’s stay and ensure the highest quality of service is being delivered to all JHRL clientele.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Guest centric mindset – enjoy working with people from different backgrounds.
  • Team player, but also able to work independently.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Can operate under pressure.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Have valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and greet individuals entering the office in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Checks voicemails, online communication software and emails throughout the day.
  • Always maintains a professional appearance and attitude in dealing with Guests and Homeowners or potential Guests and Homeowners.
  • Becomes familiar with checking reservation availability, guest profiles, sales/promotions, and basic booking procedures.
  • Familiarity with local recreational activities to help guests reserve local activities.
  • Develop familiarity with property specific amenities.
  • Create work orders and provide the maintenance and/or housekeeping department with relevant information to facilitate any requests or repairs reported by rental guests or noticed during a property walk through.
  • Offer solutions for day-to-day guest inquiries.
  • Inspects properties thoroughly before guest arrivals and after guest departure utilizing the checklist software to uphold company standards.
  • Walk through properties and check all doors and windows, turn lights off, and make sure the thermostat is properly set.
  • Stocks properties with supplies as specified for guest arrivals.
  • Puts firewood in the fireplace when appropriate.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and fueling of company vehicles daily, or as needed.
  • Helps transport packages or rentable items to guests or properties as needed.
