Responsibilities include: Provide exceptional guest service and support Assist with guest needs and requests in a compassionate, family-centered manner Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies while supporting families Perform housekeeping duties, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, keeping shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for families May assist with turning over guest rooms as needed Ensure proper guest registration and check-out procedures Learn and use database systems to track guest information and generate reports Note: This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Duties may be added or modified as needed to support daily operations Position Overview: Schedule: Every other: Fridays 5pm-11pm Saturdays 9am-11pm Sundays 9am-9pm Pay: $16 - 16.50/hr This position will rotate weekends with another team member, resulting in every other weekend off. Schedules are typically set one year in advance, with flexibility to switch weekends with other staff as needed. What You Bring: Strong customer service skills with compassion and professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn and work with database systems (training provided). Housekeeping or cleaning experience or willingness to perform duties. Reliable transportation for occasional supply pickups (mileage reimbursed). Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality, decorum, and empathy. Must perform detailed work utilizing reasoning and problem-solving skills and complete multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions. Possess excellent oral and written communications skills, interpersonal skills at all levels of the non-profit field, and organizational skills. Must be able to serve as a pro-active resource for guests, staff, and community members. Physical Demands: This job involves all the following in various degrees but is not limited to only these physical demands: attendance, standing, sitting, walking, squatting, carrying, lifting, climbing, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, cleaning, typing, writing, hearing, seeing, speaking. The ability to push up to 50 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds. Supervision & Scheduling Demands: Receives light supervision. May require occasional attendance at special events/functions of the organization. Equipment: Some of the equipment used to perform this job include computer, printer, facsimile machine, file cabinets, copier, camera, calculator, telephone, scissors, stapler, hole punch, and writing instruments. Common kitchen and laundry appliances. Special Notes: The probationary period is 90 days. A review will be conducted by the direct supervisor at 90 days and 1 year; yearly review thereafter with salary consideration by RMHCTB.
