About The Position

We are looking for upbeat and dedicated team members to help us establish a world-class guest experience for all Golden State Warriors and Valkyries games, and Chase Center concerts and events. As a part-time Guest Experiences Command Center Dispatcher you will help provide unforgettable experiences to all of our guests and Team Members, while collaborating to resolve issues that may arise in arena by fielding calls and responding appropriately. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication! This is a part-time position and is based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientated, and able to work effectively both independently and on a team
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers and develop strong working relationships across all departments internally and externally
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality protocols to safeguard sensitive information, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism and trustworthiness
  • Strong detail orientation, outstanding work ethic and problem solving
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communications, skilled at conveying complex information clearly and effectively, facilitating seamless collaboration and understanding across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to remain professional, calm, and courteous in a fast-paced environment, including during emergencies
  • Able to communicate efficiently and build positive professional relationships with Team Members of all levels
  • Ability to adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards as defined by Chase Center management
  • Reliable form of transportation
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • This position may require you to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours according to the Warriors and Valkyries home game schedule Chase Center events and Thrive City events (i.e., days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays year-round)
  • Typical game night shifts are 4:30pm - 11:00pm
  • Typical concert shifts are approximately 6+ hours in length
  • Work schedules will vary from week to week depending on scheduled events and needs of the department

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, input, and dispatch incidents in real time as they appear in VenueAware via radio calls, phone calls, and text
  • Be the liaison for positive resolutions of customer issues by provide guests and Team Members with excellent customer service to better enhance their event day experience
  • Create and populate event reports to help record guest related incidents, including injuries, illness, and inappropriate behavior
  • Address problems and requests by transmitting information to the proper departments
  • Prioritize radio calls according to urgency and importance
  • Use radio communication to send Team Members to appropriate locations
  • Follow up with supervisors to assist with Team Member and/or building related needs
  • Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
  • In the event of an emergency, assists in evacuating the arena, while maintaining a calm, professional manner
  • Maintain logs and records of radio calls, activities, and other information
  • Independently managed as the sole Guest Experiences Team Member in the command center for majority of Chase Center events.
  • Has thorough knowledge of the building including front of house and back of house areas
  • Other duties as assigned
