About The Position

The Guest Experience Manager at CAVA plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for guests while supporting daily restaurant operations. This position involves leading and developing team members, maintaining high standards in food safety and quality, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. The role requires a passion for service and the ability to motivate and coach a team effectively.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
  • Possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment
  • Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
  • Comfortable working near open flames
  • Ability to maintain near constant communication with multiple people
  • Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required
  • Ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Team Members and Special Ops Trainers
  • Be responsible for the entire guest experience
  • Develop Culinary Leads and uphold food safety & quality standards
  • Oversee food and beverage management, including inventory, ordering, and budget
  • Put deliveries away and perform any additional duties assigned
  • Cross train across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth
