About The Position

The Guest Experience Host is a key element for the success of the guest journey whose main objective is to anticipate the guest´s needs throughout their stay while curating memorable moments for them.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in luxury Hotel.
  • Self-driven and a strategic resourcing professional.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace working environment.
  • Good team spirit, cooperative with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment, utilizing a variety of computer systems to check in and out, run daily reports, select/assign rooms arriving guests, and restaurant/activity/spa reservation systems.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in both Spanish and English language.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the most personalized and individually curated experience for each VIP guest
  • Act as point of contact for VIP´s. This includes a dedicated pre-arrival email before their visit as well as to be in direct contact with the guest throughout their stay.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Personally, inspects VIP and Special Attention guestrooms and ensures readiness for a perfect arrival experience.
  • Meets and greets arriving and departing guests; Provides genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as host/ hostess.
  • Maintains high visibility in the lobby and front desk area and provides assistance to our guests in a pro-active way.
  • Resolves guest concerns and complaints speedily and efficiently; ensures complete guest satisfaction, protects the reputation of the hotel and the company.
  • Keeps management informed of guest incidents; represents senior management in their absence.
  • Ensures areas under supervision are perfectly maintained; conducts routine inspections of Public areas and guest rooms; takes proactive steps to rectify any shortcomings.
  • Screens next day movements for special instructions to various departments.
  • Ensures pending follow up action is communicated to the next shift.
  • Assists with responsibilities in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Guest Services and lobby coverage.
  • Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests.
