About The Position
The Hospitality Associate at the Distillery Visitor Center (VC) is tasked with delivering an exceptional experience to every guest, focusing on retail, ticketing, and general hospitality functions. As the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and VIP guests, the role aims to provide a distinctive, high-end experience on every occasion. The Hospitality Associate will guide guests through available experiences, develop rapport, and ensure that visitors leave with a positive impression of Four Roses Distillery. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of the Distillery VC and the Lead Guest Experience Host in the Supervisor's absence, the Associate is expected to uphold the company's commitment to excellence, maintain product knowledge, and adhere to visual brand standards. The role involves operating daily functions related to retail, cash handling, and inventory management, including restocking and organizational tasks. The Hospitality Associate must maintain in-depth knowledge of the inventory and Bourbon, as well as basic knowledge of the brand's history and products. An enthusiastic and positive attitude, along with a team-oriented mentality, is essential for success in this position. The Associate will also engage with guests in various settings, process reservation requests, and assist with ticket sales, all while striving to achieve company-directed team goals and providing a high-end hospitality experience from greeting to departure. In addition to retail functions, the Associate will provide logistical support for various VC daily functions, assist with sanitation of equipment, and participate in marketing events as needed. The job requires flexibility in scheduling, with an average of 35-40 hours per week, and may involve occasional extended hours or special projects. The Hospitality Associate must adhere to brand standards and complete necessary training to ensure responsible practices are followed without exception.
