About The Position

The Guest Experience Director at The Heights Church is responsible for enhancing the visitor and member experience by leading various ministry areas and their volunteers. This role involves organizing efforts to engage individuals from first-time visitors to church leaders, ensuring they take their next steps within the church community. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize efforts to engage visitors and members in their next steps.
• Oversee ministry areas including Dream Teams, Connect Classes, Guest Central, Baptism team, and Coffee Bar.
• Recruit and assist leaders in building strong teams.
• Organize and set up rooms for Connect classes, Baptism, and events needing volunteers.
• Ensure campus teams are prepared for all activities and services.
• Resource, support, and direct teams and leaders effectively.
• Ensure Connect classes are equipped and led with excellence, providing clear next steps for participants.
• Facilitate regular meetings with all team leaders.
• Provide necessary scheduling, communication, and leadership/training tools to all teams.
• Assist with budget preparation and accountability.
• Participate in oversight and monthly staff meetings.
• Achieve ministry growth markers year-over-year.
• Maintain compliance with church policies and procedures.
• Respond to emails and phone calls within a 48-hour timeframe.
