About The Position

The Guest Experience Associate at Visit Napa Valley is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service at the Napa Valley Welcome Center. This role focuses on enhancing visitor engagement through innovative digital interactions and providing comprehensive information about local attractions, hotels, and wineries. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism and friendliness, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of continuous experience in a hospitality-related role.
  • Experience in the Napa Valley hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of the Napa Valley wine industry preferred.
  • Experience representing a luxury brand through customer service.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with coursework in marketing, communications, hospitality, tourism, or related field.
  • Technological savvy with experience in Mac, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social channels.
  • Polished communication skills in all channels, including in-person, email, phone, and social media.
  • Excellent organization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-lingual fluency is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service for culturally diverse audiences.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment in various situations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with pleasant, timely, and accurate visitor information.
  • Provide unbiased information regarding hotels, wineries, local activities, and attractions in the Napa Valley region.
  • Actively listen to guests to discern their wants and needs during their experience in Napa.
  • Stay updated on Visit Napa Valley partnerships, offerings, and promotions to assist guests effectively.
  • Ensure smooth operation and safety of public areas by monitoring guest traffic flow and assisting as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supplies of shared spaces throughout the shift.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and provide constructive feedback regarding the Welcome Center.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Department to project Visit Napa Valley's branding and vision.
