About The Position

The Guest Experience Associate at Ashley HomeStore is responsible for assisting customers with a wide range of inquiries and concerns. This includes handling escalated customer issues, researching and resolving complex situations by applying sound judgment and adhering to company policies. Additionally, the associate will assist customers with financing options, process payments, explain the delivery process, clarify warranty details, and answer any other questions that may arise during the purchasing journey. The role demands the ability to manage a high volume of inquiries and challenging situations with professionalism, demonstrating excellent follow-through and possessing outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries and difficult issues with professionalism
  • Excellent follow-through ability
  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal skills
  • 1-year experience working in a retail, office or customer service setting
  • Excellent/professional communication skills with both internal and external contacts
  • Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Tools
  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional telephone skills
  • Understands basic financial terms
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings until 9:30 PM
  • Highly organized
  • High School Education Level

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Implement opening and closing procedures
  • Manage telephone traffic
  • Access inventory information and advice sales associates
  • Complete sales transactions
  • Execute daily checklists
  • Explain terms for customer pick up or delivery
  • Assist customers with a variety of subject matter
  • Assist escalated customer concerns
  • Research and bring resolution complex situations by using sound judgment and following company policies and guidelines
  • Assist customers with financing
  • Take payment
  • Explain delivery process
  • Explain warranty
  • Answer any other questions that arise during the purchasing process
