Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes , guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality. The role of a Guest Advocate can provide you with the ski l ls and experience of : Communicating and interact ing with guests to build a welcoming guest experience Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns A dapt ing to different guest interactions and situations P romoting and engaging around various benefits , offerings and services As a Guest Advocate, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet: 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave 4ft: greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interaction Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard M ake the guest aware of current promos , store activities and events . Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet. Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application , sign-up , and signing in as needed . S can and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices . Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy . Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering , and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use the se features . Attempt every return or exchange and follow register prompts ; partner with immediate l eaders as needed to help solve issues for the guest while following Target ’ s policies and procedures . Maintain a clean, clutter free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal . Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest . Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance . Work in a safe manner at all times ; comply with all safety policies , best practices , and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws. All other duties based on business needs .
