About The Position

As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will be part of a team that prioritizes guest experience by welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. You will engage with guests both in-store and digitally, providing knowledge about services and solutions that drive guest loyalty. Your role will involve making shopping quick and easy for guests while ensuring exceptional quality. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
  • Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact.
  • Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs.
  • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store.
  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service.
  • Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches and store activities.
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs.
  • Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App.
  • Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with Leaders as needed.
  • Partner with Leaders to de-escalate negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience.
  • Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
  • Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive-up Orders.
