JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and schedule guard shack personnel to ensure 24/7 coverage (if applicable). Oversee facility access control, including verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs. Ensure all trucks, vendors, contractors, and visitors follow established check-in/check-out procedures. Monitor inbound and outbound traffic to ensure compliance with company and safety regulations. Enforce company policies related to security, safety, and plant access. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches in a timely and professional manner. Conduct investigations of security-related incidents and prepare detailed reports. Coordinate with plant leadership, HR, and Safety teams regarding security matters. Train, coach, and evaluate guard shack personnel. Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and gate activity documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, and site-specific procedures. Support audits and inspections as needed. Maintain communication with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Performs all other duties as assigned or needed. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. De gree preferred. Experience: Two (2) - Four (4) years of security experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills, including electronic mail, and knowledge of MS Office, to include Excel and Word. Ability to master internal computer systems. Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver’s License.
