About The Position

Serval is an AI-native automation platform, founded in early 2024, that transforms how enterprises operate by building intelligent agents to understand and execute real-world workflows end-to-end. It aims to replace manual processes and rigid legacy systems with adaptive, learning software. Serval is currently trusted by companies such as Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, Mercor, LangChain, and Verkada to automate high-volume, high-friction operational work across various departments including IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering. The core of Serval is an agentic AI platform that converts natural language into production-grade workflows, enabling agents to reason, take action across systems, and continuously improve. The company's mission is to eliminate repetitive, manual work across the enterprise and build a universal AI operations layer. Serval is backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Meritech, First Round, General Catalyst, and Elad Gil, and was founded by product and engineering leaders from Verkada. This specific role is a zero-to-one opportunity to define and build a new go-to-market motion focused on activating high-leverage relationships, working directly with the COO and GTM leadership to identify, activate, and convert these relationships into pipeline and revenue.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in investing, strategy, or a relationship-heavy role within tech
  • Strong intuition for how deals actually get done
  • Experience owning outcomes across multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort with modern GTM tools (Salesforce, etc.) and a willingness to build
  • Excellent communication — you can operate effectively with executives internally and externally
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) SF or NY

Responsibilities

  • Define and build a new GTM motion focused on activating high-value relationships
  • Identify where the highest-leverage opportunities exist and prioritize accordingly
  • Design systems and processes that turn introductions and access into pipeline
  • Own ongoing engagement with key external stakeholders and make it easy for them to drive impact
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure tight execution and follow-through
  • Build visibility into performance and continuously improve the motion over time
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing on strategic, high-impact moments that accelerate deal cycles
