Zip is seeking a founding GTM Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is a hybrid of a RevOps technologist, product manager, and automation architect. As the first person dedicated to engineering and scaling the systems, data, and automation that power Zip’s go-to-market engine, you will ensure we are world-class in AI. You will own the connection of our GTM workflows, tools, and data to drive prospecting efficiency and scale across the Sales and BDR organizations. Your work will involve designing and building the technical foundation that enhances the revenue team's effectiveness, aiming for transformational AI productivity benefits rather than just incremental improvements. This is a unique opportunity to define a new discipline at Zip, working autonomously across Sales and Marketing Operations, Business Systems, and Sales Leadership to create elegant, automated solutions for complex business challenges.

  • Build the GTM automation engine by designing scalable, high-velocity workflows that improve rep efficiency, reduce friction, and accelerate pipeline generation.
  • Operationalize AI and enrichment by partnering with GTM Ops and Business Systems teams to evaluate and implement AI tools to enhance outbound quality and personalization.
  • Act as the product owner for the GTM stack, managing requirements, prioritization, and system rollouts for GTM tools.
  • Define and track metrics for sales productivity, funnel velocity, and automation ROI, building dashboards and data models for performance visibility.
  • Collaborate with GTM Operations and Business Systems to ensure data consistency, routing logic, and attribution accuracy.
  • Pilot new tools, integrations, and AI workflows, testing and scaling effective RevOps technology.
  • 4+ years of experience in GTM systems, RevOps engineering, or product management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Working experience with Salesforce, specifically the Contact, Account, Opportunity, and Campaign objects.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (Python, Javascript, Apex, etc.).
  • Proven ability to learn new systems quickly and apply emerging technologies to solve traditional business challenges.
  • Experience working with LLM applications and prompting at scale.
  • Experience managing complex integrations and workflow automation using tools such as Workato, Zapier, Clay, n8n, custom scripts, and CDP/reverse ETL tools (e.g., Hightouch, Census).
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect business needs to system design and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High bias for action, low ego, and a relentless ownership mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in uncharted territory and move fast to create clarity.
  • Start-up equity
  • Full health, vision & dental coverage
  • Catered lunches & dinners for SF or NY employees
  • Commuter benefit
  • Team building events & happy hours
  • Flexible PTO
  • Apple equipment plus home office budget
  • 401k plan
