This position will champion new and innovative approaches to business process improvements under limited guidance. It will provide functional support, problem identification, and recommend improvements of functions, processes, and procedures related to projects and initiatives. The position links the business unit operations to the GES/ITS groups for business process improvements.

  • Independently lead sub-projects in support of larger, more complex projects or programs as directed by more senior team members.
  • Collect and validate data from various sources, primarily one or two enterprise applications, to monitor business performance and process adoption.
  • Work with multiple departments across an organization to resolve problems and implement process improvements.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and provide functional process support within GTC.
  • Guide and support departmental SMEs in implementing, monitoring and measuring improvements.
  • Identify and support projects that may include collaboration with several other work groups or organizations.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver reference and training materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understanding of business process performance analytics.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, MS Project, Visio, Azure Dev Ops, Power BI are preferred).
  • Knowledge of Trade Compliance systems desired.
  • Working understanding of trade compliance regulations preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written preferred.
  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships within the department across functional SME personnel and internal customers.
  • Spanish language knowledge a plus.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5-to-7-year experience in a related field is preferred. Finance and Accounting classes are beneficial.
