The intern will work with a project team on high voltage electrical construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in entry-level project management. Manage document control and distribution
repare and track product submittals
Display understanding and compliance with policies and procedures
Assist the Project Manager with reports and schedule review
Assist Field Foreman with information, material tracking, and other administrative functions
Assist with Take-offs and preliminary estimating
Input data into Accubid
Maintain As-builts
Prepare RFI's and track/document responses
Maintain office and field drawing sets and update as required
Assist Project Manager with administrative functions
Participation in the Lunch & Learn internship program provided by the MYR Group Internship Leadership team.
Prior to the end of their internship, the intern will create and present a self-reflection project detailing their gained industry knowledge, future career goals, as well as personal and professional growth. The presentation will be provided in PowerPoint and presented to their direct management team.

High School Diploma, or the equivalent
1-3 years in the construction industry, preferred but not mandatory ()
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Construction Management, Engineering, or related major
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
Dependability and punctuality for all GSW activities
Excellent time management
Proactive attitude, showing initiative and the ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing job requirements
Ability to drive to jobsites
Positive attitude and customer focus
Ability to work in a team environment and display leadership skills

Preferred proficiency in BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
