Raytheon Global Security Services (GSS) is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented security project lead responsible for classified space strategy. This individual contributor will lead a cross functional matrixed team including Facilities, Digital Technology, GSS, and SBU partners to ensure Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and Open Storage Areas (OSAs) accreditation and compliance standards are met. Lead planning to develop projects to ensure allocated annual capital budget is socialized and accepted by stakeholders. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and updates related to SAPF/SCIF construction and accreditation and maintain awareness of evolving compliance and digital security requirements for classified work is critical. The role will also have oversight of GSS CAPEX projects to ensure completion with identified milestones. What You Will Do Initially, this role will be focused on formalizing roles and responsibilities across a cross-functional team structure. This work will include establishing a team governance structure, developing plan (including performance measures) and validating the current state across Raytheon (work which has already been carried out) As the role and project team progresses this role will shift focus to developing, testing, implementing, and sustaining processes to leverage the scale of Raytheon in the classified space domain Future years (e.g., >12 months) will see this leadership role shift to assure operationalization of common processes, strategies, and standard work – in addition to continued tracking of key performance measures relevant to the project Collaborate with the Global Security Services, Product Line Leadership, and functional teams on secure area plan development and execution Provide regular status updates, reports, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders to track progress, budgets, and outcomes Provide guidance and facilitate important decisions and activity completions with working teams, fostering a collaborative work environment Expected to support domestic travel as needed

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Experience with business and project management tools and procedures.
  • Experience working with classified program security requirements – including physical security compliance to government requirements (e.g. ICD-705/NISPOM)
  • Experience related to SCIF/SAPF construction and understanding of various customer accreditation processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with task planning, staffing, and tracking of multiple projects with multiple personnel
  • Experience implementing business process improvement.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government-funded contracts, including classified contracts
  • Proven application classified program security requirements – including physical security compliance to government requirements (e.g. ICD-705/NISPOM) – in direct management or support of new classified space construction and accreditation
  • Understanding of unclassified and classified processing, red/black separation, and power requirements to ensure design meets overall TEMPEST security compliance
  • Experience with managing subcontractors and consultants
  • Working knowledge of RTX CORE, or continuous improvement programs / operating systems
  • Role type: hybrid candidate must be able to work 3+ days/week, preferably at one of the following locations: Tewksbury-Andover, MA, McKinney, TX, Dulles, VA, Aurora, CO or Tucson, AZ
