The position functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The supervisor ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. In emergency situations, the supervisor notifies the proper authorities and the client. Responsibilities include coaching and disciplining personnel, training Security Officers, reviewing post orders, and assisting in payroll submissions. The supervisor also prepares and submits various reports, inspects posts, and meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided. Supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and making hiring and termination recommendations. The supervisor may also perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.
