The GSOC Specialist is responsible for providing support in Security/Fire/Life Safety Alarm Monitoring; Global Threat Management, Video Monitoring, Incident Management, Travel Safety and Security and dispatching of Fidelity regional security or Public Safety personnel to corporate locations! The Value You Deliver includes dispatching and coordinating response to incidents that occur on company premises, or at corporate events, using appropriate communication methods. Responses may be to medical emergencies, burglar, fire, or duress alarms. Operators may be required to liaison with law enforcement, fire, or other public safety organizations related to emergencies at or near company property. You will review, analyze and escalate open-source and subscription-based intelligence to help mitigate and report global threats to company property, employees, and partners. Document, assess, and advance instances of possible threats in the workplace. The GSOC Specialist will support the travel security program through monitoring of associate travel and be prepared to account for them during events of concern or elevated risk. Reporting out of the ordinary or abnormal conditions to the company's security personnel, management, employees, suppliers, and facilities organization is also part of the role. You will partner with internal security, facilities & real estate, enterprise resiliency and business continuity teams during business impacting incidents or events. Receiving, evaluating, and disseminating incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, and company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies is essential. Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various Fidelity partners and assist in the coordination of service requests for afterhours access to Fidelity offices.
