About The Position
Control Risks is seeking an experienced and proactive GSOC Specialist Team Lead to guide a high-performing team embedded within the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) of a major Fortune 500 client. In this role, you’ll oversee mission-critical intelligence and operations, drive continuous improvement, and serve as a key player in safeguarding the client. Lead with purpose. Supervise a team of GSOC Specialists, overseeing onboarding, training, quality assurance, and scheduling to maintain round-the-clock operational excellence. Stay ahead of global risk. Monitor unfolding global events—such as natural disasters, civil unrest, and geopolitical threats—and assess their potential impact on the client’s global workforce and operations. Set the standard. Review and refine intelligence products, alerts, and reports to ensure clarity, relevance, and strategic value for executive-level stakeholders. Drive operational excellence. Optimize workflows, identify gaps, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness across GSOC operations. Own the big picture. Deliver detailed situational briefings and updates to senior global security leadership with confidence and authority. Shape future capabilities. Lead the development and implementation of GSOC standard operating procedures, best practices, and new technologies to advance operational capabilities. Train for success. Coordinate and participate in training initiatives and exercises to ensure team readiness and compliance with protocols. Innovate and evolve. Spearhead the adoption of new services, tools, and technologies that improve intelligence gathering, communication, and operational performance.
