About The Position

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and guests. This position involves overseeing the operations of the GSOC, managing a team, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance security measures. The GSOC Manager is responsible for strategic program oversight, effective communication, and the integration of technology in security operations, all while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Security or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position in a corporate control center.
  • Extensive experience with access control platforms, video management systems, and incident management applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the GSOC and stakeholders.
  • Support Threat Intelligence requirements by providing accurate and actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Lead the team by providing strategic direction and hands-on guidance in handling security issues.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and alignment of responsibilities for each shift.
  • Supervise the implementation of new technologies and business processes to improve efficiency.
  • Initiate and maintain strategic planning to adapt to business growth and evolving customer needs.
  • Build, lead, manage, and motivate teams in a dynamic environment focused on security and resiliency.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) as per client agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with client expectations and policies, and monitor assets for rapid notifications to stakeholders.
  • Provide coordinated response to physical security, safety, and business continuity events.
  • Develop and maintain security-services performance metrics and related reports.
  • Assist field-based security specialists and program stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices relating to control center security management.
