About The Position

Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on diesel- and gasoline-powered GSE, including de-ice trucks and other fleet vehicles. Support fleet reliability by completing maintenance tasks and mentoring junior technicians. Growth Opportunities: Lead small maintenance projects. Opportunity to advance to Level III – Lead / Advanced Technician.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of mechanical, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance experience OR strong mechanical aptitude with training.
  • Experience with diesel engines and diesel-powered equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment non-DOT drug test and FAA background check.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all GSE, including de-ice trucks.
  • Troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, electrical, and automotive systems.
  • Assist with repairs, engine/component removal, and minor overhauls.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.
  • Mentor Level I Technicians and provide guidance on fleet operations.
  • Collaborate with operations to prioritize maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
