About The Position

The GSE Tech I Fueler is responsible for performing fueling functions and supporting ground service operations. This position involves checking fluids on both motorized and non-motorized equipment, filling deicers, conducting weekly tow bar inspections, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ground service equipment. The role operates under close supervision from the GSE Manager and follows established procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Self-starter with the initiative to work without direct supervision.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling functions for gasoline and diesel equipment, including checking fluids and filling deicers.
• Conduct weekly tow bar inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate ground service equipment (GSE) and aircraft de-icing equipment.
• Monitor and track equipment performance to identify and proactively address reliability issues.
• Maintain the safety and security of the ramp at all times by adhering to safe ground handling procedures.
• Observe maintenance of ground handling equipment, including performance checks.
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by Manager.
