Are you an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of auto and diesel engines? The Ground Service Mechanic is responsible for general troubleshooting and repair work on gas/diesel engines and associated systems, electrical systems, transmissions, gears, brakes, and all other systems associated with airport service equipment. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting). As an AGI Mechanic you will: Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair: vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel, and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units, and more. Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment. Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies.
