JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE The Lead Ambassador leads the team of Ambassadors who serve as liaison between youth, adults and the community to minimize acts of gang violence and to improve community relations. This is a hands-on position; the Lead Ambassador delegates work for Part Time Ambassadors that is needed as well as coordinates weekly work schedule with area Coordinator. Provides incident response and delivers Transitional Client Services. Ambassador have strong ties to the local community and existing relationships, being familiar with the gang culture of the target community. The Lead Ambassador position requires a combination of administrative/office duties and field/outreach work.
