About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Credit Product Portfolio Specialist to manage a portfolio of supplier finance relationships within the GRT Supplier Finance and Key Account Purchase organization. This role integrates program execution, on-going credit underwriting, and portfolio risk management into a single coverage model and serves as the primary point of accountability for program risk and performance. The portfolio specialist partners closely with Credit, Bank Partners, Risk, Legal, Operations, Product, and Sales to structure, implement, optimize, and scale working capital solutions that align with client objectives and the firm’s balance sheet, risk, and growth priorities. In this role, you will: Own supplier finance relationships across program management, underwriting, and ongoing risk oversight. Independently analyze complex client portfolios, including cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, and repayment sources. Lead renewals and modifications, assessing risk and advising leadership on complex situations. Integrate program performance and utilization trends into underwriting, reviews, and risk assessments. Proactively identify and escalate emerging risks consistent with the firm’s Risk Overlay. Partner cross‑functionally to ensure program integrity, audit readiness, and adherence to policy and regulatory expectations. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and senior leadership on credit, risk, and working capital solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Supplier Finance, Key Account Purchase (KAP), Payables Finance, Reverse Factoring, or Supply Chain Finance solutions
  • Strong financial and credit underwriting acumen with the ability to assess risk holistically.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Prior client‑facing product, portfolio management, or implementation leadership experience
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth, risk, and client outcomes
